Why isn’t my country included?

Unfortunately in some countries parcels more often get lost in national mail, so I had to decide not to ship there (being only one person rather than a large company, the refunding costs of non-deliveries were too high). I am very sorry for any inconveniences caused by this. I will be looking into other shipping options for these countries, such as courier services in the future.

Where does the parcel ship from?

United Kingdom
I am based in Llanidloes, Wales, United Kingdom. All parcels are dispatched from the local post office here.

When is a parcel lost?
  • UK parcels are considered lost in the post 4 working days after the dispatching date.
  • EU, USA and Canada: orders are considered lost after 20 working days.
  • Australia and New Zealand: orders are considered lost after 25 working days.

Please get in contact with me if you have waited the above mentioned maximum delivery times.

What are the delivery costs?

The costs of delivery depends on the type of delivery you select and the country to which you are shipping. You can see these costs in your basket before you make the purchase.
Free shipping is available in the UK on all orders over 10 pounds.
Free international standard shipping is available when ordering over 20 pounds.
I will automatically upgrade shipping types when spending over 45 pounds.

How do I receive free shipping?

Can I track my order?

Please be aware that the cheaper international standard airmail does not come with a tracking code! If you do want a tracking code you can select a tracked shipping option if you are based in the US, Canada or Europe. The price of this is often too high for small orders. If you have selected the tracked shipping option I will email the tracking code to the email address you provided (be aware that this can sometimes end up in your bulkmail/junkmail).

Payment, Returns and Refunds

What payment types are available?

You can pay with a credit card or debit card using the secure Paypal checkout, a Paypal account can be used but is not required!

I use Paypal as the payment gateway seeing that it is safe and offers buyers the most protection/rights.

What is the price in my currency?

All my prices are shown in Pound Sterling, the UK currency which I use. However, if you use a different currency you can easily Google the price to check what it is in your currency. The reason I don’t use a currency converter is because they are often not up to date, and might give you a wrong price. During the check-out process you will see the price in your currency through the Paypal checkout, and you can still decide not to make the payment.

Can I return items?

Yes, you can return any item when you notify me within 7 days from the receiving date. The item has to be unused and in it’s original packaging (a gift box or bag).

You can contact me about returns through the contact form on this website or by replying to your confirmation email.
The refund will only amount the product costs, not the initial shipping and return shipping (while big companies might offer this service, it is too much for small scale seller to pay for returns). So do be aware that returns will cost you some money and prevent this by reading about what you are buying beforehand!

What happens if my order arrived broken?

While I always try to package parcels very well, every now and then there might be one parcel which doesn’t survive the rough handling in the post.

If this is the case please always contact me, through the contact form here, or by replying to your confirmation email.

If you add on a picture of the broken item in your email, you will not be required to send it back for a refund.

Can I receive a refund for postal delays?

I do not offer refunds for postal delays. Every now and then parcels will get caught up in postal delays due to strikes, severe weather conditions, holidays or custom delays. These parcels will most likely arrive later than the estimated time. However if it is really taking a very long time, they might be lost.

Parcels are considered lost in the post after the following delivery times:

  • UK parcels are considered lost in the post 4 working days after the dispatching date.
  • EU, USA and Canada: orders are considered lost after 20 working days.
  • Australia and New Zealand: orders are considered lost after 25 working days.

Please get in contact with my if you have waited the above mentioned waiting times. I will quickly dispatch a new parcel.

Where can I find and leave reviews?

It might take quite a while for this website to contain reviews of all products. However I have been selling on Etsy for several years now, and have over 2000 reviews there. You can find my Etsy shop here.

If you like to leave a review for my products you can do so on the individual product pages. However, I don’t allow reviews of people who haven’t bought anything (seeing that this might get used for spam otherwise).

What wholesale option are available?

Retailers can buy in bulk from me. The making time and price will largely depend on the product, but on orders over 50 items the wholesale price is generally 40% under the retail price of this website (in some cases more). Please contact me with more specific requests for any quotes.
If you are an individual wanting to buy quite a large amount (such as 10 products for an event), I can also offer discounts, in the form of coupon codes. Feel free to contact me about this.

What is copyrighted on this site?

Everything on this website, including texts, pictures and products are owned by me (I only use my own pictures and texts).

This means that you cannot copy my products, pictures or texts to portrait it as your own!

I will get stolen pictures or faked copies of my work taken down.
Also feel free to let me know if you suspect fake copies of my work on other seller platforms.

Can I write a feature article?

I am very thankful if you consider my work worth featuring!
All my pictures can be used in feature articles as long as they reference at least one of these: my website, my Etsy site, my full name or brand name. I am always honoured to be featured  by anyone, and I would be happy to provide them with any extra information. Also feel free to mention me on social media if you have written an article, and I will make sure to share it on my social media pages.

In some cases I can provide free samples for reviews, or products for give-aways. However, I have become very selective, seeing that I get too many bloggers asking for free stuff. I will mainly be looking at social media interactions and type of audience, rather than number of followers. A successful blog is not just about numbers, it is about an active fan base.

Can items be customised?

I can easily change necklace sizes or make other small adjustments to items. To make the process of custom orders easier, I prefer to create them through my Etsy shop, which has a special custom order feature.

How long will the items last?

Though a lot of the products are made from alloy metals, this doesn’t have to mean they won’t last long. To make the most from costume jewellery it is important to store it in a dark and dry place, check out this full article about maintaining your jewellery for more information.
